1. Sample Table View for Efficient Data Management

A new table view has been introduced for efficient management of sample data associated with each paper. This feature streamlines the workflow for researchers and curators working with multiple samples and their associated descriptors.

Key Features:

  • Inline editing: Edit sample names, compositions, details, and descriptor values directly in the table
  • Descriptor copy function: Easily copy descriptor values between samples using the ⧉ icon
  • Smart pagination: Navigate through large datasets comfortably
  • Visual distinction: Basic fields and descriptor fields are color-coded for better readability

How to Access:

Navigate to any paper detail page and click on the “Sample Table” tab.

Descriptor Copy Feature

The descriptor copy dialog allows you to efficiently duplicate descriptor values across multiple samples, saving time when working with similar materials.

2. Enhanced Paper List Navigation

The paper list page has been significantly improved with advanced sorting and pagination capabilities, making it easier to navigate through large collections of research papers.

Sorting Functionality:

  • Sort by SID: Papers can now be sorted by SID (Starrydata ID) in ascending or descending order
  • Visual indicators: Current sort status is clearly displayed with intuitive icons

Advanced Pagination:

  • Direct page navigation: Jump to any page by entering the page number directly
  • Quick navigation buttons: Move to the first or last page with a single click
